Winelovers Awards – Gold Medal
2019 was an exceptional year for the production of Szamorodni wines. In the second half of October, it was possible to collect bunches of grapes, parcel by parcel, that contained high quality botrytised berries. As usual, the grapes were macerated, pressed and aged in oak barrels. The vintage offers very well balanced sweet wines with long ageing potential.

James Suckling – 98 points
„Brimming with pineapple, mangosteen, ripe star fruit and floral honey, this is still very youthful and tightly wound on the gigantically concentrated palate. The vibrant acidity lights the tropical-fruit character like a fireworks display does the night sky. Enormously dense yet precisely delineated finish. Very limited production. Decades of life ahead of it. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.” by Stuart Pigott
